Want to see Los Angeles, California, from above?

Venice Beach to Hollywood, and back again

Christine is from France but has made Los Angeles, California, her home. Her distriKt is about her experiences in her beautiful City of Angels. Starting with coffee and a small breakfast from a Hollywood balcony, Christine takes us all over the remarkable and colossal capital of the western United States.

Los Angeles is big, but have you ever been able to stand on a hill and look over an entire sprawling city, taking in millions of people in a single gaze, with more city still to be seen beyond the horizon? This can’t be done just anywhere…Griffith Park and Runyon Canyon in north Los Angeles are the go-to places for this sort of sight. Along the way are rows of towering palm trees, the Hollywood reservoir, the Griffith Observatory, and on a lucky day, a picturesque rainbow. Oh, and did we mention the Hollywood sign? Christine has you covered on that one, too. Once you’re done taking in all of the views (it might take a while with all there is to see), shimmy on over to Venice Beach for a sunset and a cocktail. With Christine as your tour guide, you won’t be disappointed!
