A hidden gem in New York

A hidden gem in New York

Almost nobody knew that spot… Until you, until now.

Located in Queens, just 15 minutes away from Manhattan, Sunnyside is listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places and seems totally locked back in time. Well, except for the modern cars, you know…Daniel loves to wander in Sunnyside’s streets while admire landscaped front yards, especially in Spring when every flower is blooming. The scenery here never ceases to amaze Daniel.

Perhaps his favorite part about walking the streets are the little side alleys that cut through the strips of buildings, connecting one street to another. Sometimes the streets and alleys are filled with snow, other times they are unburdened and at fill display.

Daniel is near masterful in his representation of the feel of his neighborhood, a quaint neighborhood across the East River from Manhattan. Cats are free to roam the area and even find homes in the nearby thrift shop or pulling security at the local hair salon. Sunnyside is a mellow departure from the hustle and bustle of the City that Never Sleeps.
