Punta Cana, El Cachote, Sousa, just to name a few destinations in the Dominican Republic
Julio’s Dominican Republic can be your Dominican Republic, too
Julio shows us what the Dominican Republic is all about in his distriKt, a guide to the eastern portion of the island Hispaniola. He presents several activities for anyone traveling to the island, all of which Julio is convinced you will enjoy. It’s worth taking his word; he is the all-knowing local reporter after all!
Julio brings us to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on a couple of occasions. The first is to highlight an authentic seafood restaurant, serving everything up fresh from the sea. Even Julio, who says he is not a seafood fan, thought the meal was excellent. Just imagine if you are a seafood-lover…
The second trip to Punta Cana reveals a destination Julio calls paradise. Hoyo Azul, located at Scape Park in Punta Cana (the eastermost location on Hispaniola), is a humid forest microclimate, according to Julio, the local reporter. Ok, but what makes it cool? That would be the crystal clear blue natural lagoon set in between the large rocks of Scape Park. Julio’s advice is to take a refreshing, relaxing dip before a night out.
His beach, drink, and lodging recommendations are on point, as well. Beach, sun, nature, and fresh seafood can go a long way. See for yourself in Julio’s distriKt!
