Oran, Algeria is the focus of this distriKt by AA Zoheir. This authentic look at the northwestern Algerian city of Oran immerses you into AA Zoheir’s world. He goes all around the city, helping us discover Oran from the inside, from above, and from the weather app, keeping us up to date with the Algerian heat.

One activity AA Zoheir likes to spend time doing is biking around Oran during the day. It’s a perfect way to see something new (or something you have already seen) while getting in some exercise. Insider tip: try biking in a new place and experience your own personal tour! Sometimes, AA Zoheir needs to get out of the city so that he can…look down on it from above! A quick trip to the Fort of Santa Cruz provides AA Zoheir with gorgeous panoramic views of Oran and the Alboran Sea that comprises the Algerian coastline.

Thanks to AA Zoheir, we even get to see how the City of Oran prepares for the arrival of the French President. French and Algerian flags were strung from palm tree to palm tree on Soummam Boulevard, while banners were hung from building to building above the Arzew Street. People filled the streets beneath the banners and spilled on to balconies overhead. It looked like a real block party!
